Coahoma authorities seek help identifying trailer theft suspect
Coahoma County law enforcement is asking the public to help identify a man suspected of stealing an equipment trailer from Coahoma Community College on Feb. 20, 2026.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that an unknown male driving a Ford F-350 entered the main campus on Maggie Lake Drive between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Investigators say the man removed a True Grit 14K 88×32 equipment trailer from behind the Cain Building.
Authorities said they are seeking anyone who recognizes the individual or the truck, or who saw suspicious activity in the area during that time. The sheriff’s office asked residents to report information that could help identify the suspect or lead to recovery of the stolen property.
Coahoma Community College is a public community college located in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The sheriff’s office urged people with tips to call 662-624-3085 or send a message via the department’s Facebook page; tips may be submitted anonymously.
