Capitol Police master sergeant receives Outstanding Service award

Master Sgt. Alisa Promise of the Capitol Police received the Outstanding Service Award from the Hundred Club of Jackson, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety said in a Facebook post.

The department praised Promise for her hard work, leadership, professionalism and commitment to excellence, saying those qualities made her deserving of the recognition.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety oversees a range of state law enforcement programs, including the Capitol Police, which provide security and public safety services at the state capitol complex and related facilities.

The Hundred Club of Jackson is a community organization known for honoring and supporting law enforcement officers and other first responders. Awards from such groups are intended to recognize exemplary service and to highlight leadership within public safety agencies.
