Authorities seek Richard Hawks for failure to register as sex offender
Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department are asking the public for help locating and arresting Richard Hawks, who is wanted on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, the groups said.
Hawks is described as a white man, 5-foot-11, about 178 pounds, with green eyes and thinning red hair, authorities said. No additional details about the alleged offense or when he was reported missing from the registry were provided.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of NE Mississippi at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or to download the P3 Tip app and submit an anonymous tip, the organizations said. Crime Stoppers offers up to $2,000 cash for a tip that leads to an arrest and emphasizes that it seeks information, not names.
