SHANNON, Miss. — Lee County deputies stopped a vehicle in the Shannon area on Dec. 26, 2025, and found the driver in possession of cocaine, the sheriff’s office reported.
The driver, 50-year-old Michael Gammel of Shannon, was arrested on charges of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. A Lee County Justice Court judge set his bond at $2,500.
