Man sought for attempted murder

WANTED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER–ARMED & DANGEROUS

20-year-old Jordan Davis is wanted for allegedly shooting his stepfather during a domestic dispute at a home on Comstock Avenue in the St. Martin community Thursday night, January 26.

When deputies got to the home they found 32-year-old Derrick Darnell Banks suffering from several gunshot wounds. Sheriff John Ledbetter says Davis left before deputies arrived. He was wearing no shirt and black pants and armed with a handgun.

Banks is in Ocean Springs hospital in critical condition.
