Over the next week, more than 5,000 families across the storm-affected area will be receiving a check in the mail worth anywhere from $50 to $5,600.

The reality is that education at all levels is intended to enrich one’s life but also to get you a job.

The Mississippi Treasury offers two 529 education savings plans, each of which may deliver you a tax deduction.

Participating students will be competing for a total of $8,000 in Mississippi Affordable College Savings (MACS) scholarships.

Immediate action is needed to protect the retirement plans of Mississippi families.
