Sgt. Coleman, retired Sgt. Fultz place 1-2 in Desoto rifle match

The Desoto Rifle & Pistol Club posted on its Facebook page that S9 Sgt. George Coleman and S9 (retired) Sgt. Andy Fultz took first and second place in the Precision Rifle F-Class 600-yard event at the club’s range.

Precision Rifle F-Class is a long-range rifle discipline in which competitors fire from a seated or prone position using scoped rifles and specialized equipment to score hits on targets at extended distances, commonly including 600 yards. Matches emphasize accuracy, wind reading and consistent shooting technique.

Local shooting clubs such as the Desoto Rifle & Pistol Club organize these matches to promote marksmanship, safety and camaraderie among participants. Club events often draw active-duty and former service members, hobbyists and competitive shooters seeking to test skills and equipment under standardized conditions.

Details about the match, including scores and the number of competitors, were not provided in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
