Blue Mountain Christian head coach Kevin Barefield said he was pleased with the team’s performance against a deep field. “This was a really competitive field with a lot of nationally ranked programs, and I thought our guys represented us well,” Barefield said. “Alex and Cobey both had strong tournaments and showed the kind of consistency we expect from our leaders. Hosting an event like this against this level of competition helps prepare us for what’s ahead, and I’m proud of the way the team competed from start to finish.”
The third-place finish against a strong national field provides another solid result for the Toppers as they continue their spring season.
