Dabbs finishes runner-up, leads Toppers to fourth at Ram Spring Invite
MOBILE, Ala. — Morgan Dabbs finished second and led Blue Mountain Christian to a fourth-place team finish at the Ram Spring Invite in Mobile, Alabama.
Dabbs shot 75 in each of the three rounds for a 225 total, one of the most consistent performances in the field. Her steady play kept her near the top of the leaderboard throughout the tournament and secured the runner-up spot.
The Toppers received additional scoring from Erin Porter, who finished 23rd after rounds of 84, 85 and 82 for a 251 total. Abby Gattis tied for 24th with rounds of 84, 84 and 86 for a 254 total. Abby Moore placed 31st after shooting 94, 93 and 91 (278), and Adina Ataullah finished 33rd with rounds of 94, 94 and 92 (280).
Coach Kevin Barefield said, “Morgan played really steady golf all three rounds and showed great composure throughout the tournament. Seeing her compete at that level and stay consistent from start to finish was impressive. I’m proud of the entire group for the way they competed and supported one another this week.” The Toppers will look to build on this performance as they continue their spring schedule.
