Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves met Monday with Canadian Consul General Rosaline Kwan to discuss trade relations.
Canada is Mississippi’s top international trading partner, with the state exporting more than $2 billion worth of goods annually, Reeves said in a Facebook post.
Reeves expressed optimism about strengthening the partnership.
