Gov. Tate Reeves visits Mississippi Federation of Republican Women
Gov. Tate Reeves said he visited the Mississippi Federation of Republican Women and praised the group’s role in shaping the Republican Party and the state. Reeves posted about the meeting on Facebook, writing, “The Mississippi Federation of Republican Women has helped shape both the Republican Party and our state. Enjoyed getting to visit with them today. Incredibly grateful for everything they do!”
The Mississippi Federation of Republican Women is a statewide organization made up of local chapters that engages members in party-building, candidate support and grassroots activism. Groups of this kind have long played a role in recruiting volunteers, fundraising and mobilizing voters across the state.
Officials often meet with party-affiliated civic organizations to maintain ties with activists and to discuss policy priorities. Such visits can help elected leaders receive feedback from constituents and reinforce relationships with the party’s base.
Details about the timing and agenda of Reeves’ visit were not included in his Facebook post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
