Local Police Officers Attend FBI LEEDA Leadership Institute

Police supervisors from multiple agencies gathered this week for the FBI LEEDA Supervisor Leadership Institute, hosted by the local department. The class was led by Sean Whent and Chief Jason Lyons of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. The program aims to develop leadership skills among law enforcement officers at all levels and is considered vital for preparing future police leaders.

Thirty-four supervisors representing 14 agencies across six states participated in the course, emphasizing a shared commitment to personal growth and leadership development. Among the attendees were nine officers from the local department, reflecting their dedication to professional excellence. The department values continuous training as part of its effort to provide the highest standard of service to the community.

Officials congratulated the graduates and Trilogy recipients, acknowledging their achievement. The department plans to host similar training sessions in the future to support ongoing leadership development. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
