Mississippi will host the Mississippi Aerospace Ecosystem Reception during the Space Symposium on April 14, organizers said. The reception is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lumen8 Rooftop Social and is intended to connect state leaders, companies and partners with visiting members of the space and defense community.
Organizers said Mississippi was the nations second-fastest-growing economy in 2024 and urged attendees to learn “why something special is happening here.” Special guest Tate Reeves is expected to attend, organizers said.
The Space Symposium is a major annual gathering of space industry, defense and government leaders that draws participants from across the United States and around the world. The reception offers networking opportunities for companies and officials involved in aerospace and defense.
