Biloxi Limits Fireworks to Selected Holidays and Events
BILOXI, Miss. — Fireworks are generally banned inside Biloxi city limits, with certain exceptions for holidays and special events, the Biloxi Fire Department says.
Fireworks are permitted on New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Jan. 1. The Fourth of July and the first three days of Tet are also allowed, but only when accompanied by the Dragon Dance parade, which requires a permit from the fire department.
The fire department urges residents to prioritize safety during celebrations. Fireworks should be used outdoors only, kept away from children unless supervised, and never ignited near buildings or wooded areas, officials said.
