Mississippi State Fair to Begin Wednesday
The 161st edition of the Mississippi State Fair will open its gates to attendees on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
Safety restrictions and policies will be in place, such as offering masks to all attendees and sanitizing amusement rides after each use, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Masks are recommended for all who choose to attend; however, they will not be a requirement to enter the fair.
The fair also will allow free entry on its opening night to first responders and healthcare workers with identification as a show of appreciation due to their efforts in the fight against the coronavirus.
