Arnie Hederman Elected RNC Committeeman for Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. — Arnie Hederman, a longtime Mississippi Republican Party figure, has been unanimously elected as the new Republican National Committee Committeeman for Mississippi.

The Mississippi Republican Party State Central Committee elected Hederman to replace Frank Bordeaux, who recently retired. The announcement was made by Mike Hurst, Chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party.

Hederman’s election comes with the endorsement of Gov. Tate Reeves.

“Arnie has long been a fixture of Republican Party activities in our state, and he has created and sustained relationships across the political arena,” Reeves said. “I know that he will represent us admirably at the RNC in continuing the fight for American freedoms and the values that make us the greatest country in the history of mankind.”

Hurst also praised Hederman’s dedication. “Arnie has been in the trenches working to elect Republicans both in Mississippi and throughout our nation for almost 30 years,” Hurst said. “He is a selfless, servant leader who will be a fantastic RNC Committeeman for the State of Mississippi and will always put Mississippi and America first.”

Hederman has an extensive background in Republican politics. He has held multiple roles within the Mississippi Republican Party, including Political Director, Executive Director, Treasurer and State Chairman. He has also served as the Director of Education and Training for the Republican National Committee. His campaign experience includes serving as Executive Director for Bob Dole’s 1996 presidential campaign in Mississippi and as Mississippi Chairman for Marco Rubio’s 2016 presidential campaign.
