The post directs residents to city alerts (http://hyper-reach.com/mscityofvicksburgsignup.html), the U.S. National Weather Service in Jackson, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, the Mississippi Department of Transportation, the Warren County Emergency Management Agency, the Mississippi Department of Public Safety and the Entergy outage map (https://www.entergy.com/viewoutages).
Those agencies provide forecasts, road and travel advisories, emergency coordination and power-outage maps.
