Vicksburg police seek armed, dangerous aggravated assault suspect

VICKSBURG, Miss. — The Vicksburg Police Department is asking the public for help locating a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault investigation, police said. Authorities identified the suspect as Omarion Nelson, born Dec. 20, 2005, and said he is wanted in case No. 26-1632 and is considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators asked anyone with information about Nelson’s whereabouts to contact Investigator Robert Barfield at 601-876-8494, the Vicksburg Police Department at 601-636-2511 or CrimeStoppers at 601-355-8477, police said.

The Vicksburg Police Department serves the city of Vicksburg in west central Mississippi and handles criminal investigations, traffic enforcement and community safety programs.
