Vicksburg police arrest two in Jan. 19 homicide
VICKSBURG, Miss. — The Vicksburg Police Department says it has arrested two people in the homicide that occurred just before midnight on Jan. 19 in the 1300 block of Bowmar Avenue.
The department identified the suspects as DAngelo Frazier, 18, and Sidney McDaniel, 29. Both were arrested and charged in the murder of Jeremy Bailey, 32, and were arraigned in court today. Bond for each suspect was set at $1,000,000, the department said in a Facebook post.
The Vicksburg Police Department is the municipal law enforcement agency for Vicksburg in Warren County and handles violent-crime investigations in the city. Homicide probes typically involve evidence collection, witness interviews and coordination with prosecutors as authorities build a case for trial.
The department said the investigation remains ongoing and that additional information will be released as it becomes available. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
