Vicksburg police arrest third suspect in Jan. 19 homicide
Vicksburg police say they arrested a third person in connection with a homicide that occurred just before midnight on Jan. 19 in the 1300 block of Bowmar Avenue.
The Vicksburg Police Department said in a Facebook post that DAngelo Frazier, 18, and Sidney McDaniel, 29, were previously arrested and charged in the death of Jeremy Bailey, 32. Both were arraigned in court and each received a $1,000,000 bond.
On Jan. 21, police arrested Maranda Quarles, 28, in connection with the case. Quarles appeared in court on Jan. 22, where a judge set her bond at $1,000,000, the department said.
The Vicksburg Police Department did not provide additional details about the circumstances of the homicide or any potential motive. Vicksburg is a city in western Mississippi where police investigators typically work with local prosecutors on homicide cases. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
