Two deputies graduate from North Mississippi law enforcement center

Two deputies from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office graduated from the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center in Tupelo after completing Basic Class 2026-B-81, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputy Jacob Stoll received the “Top Cop” Award as the overall top performer in the class and also earned the Top Firearms Award for excellence in firearms training, the office said. Deputy Jonathan Rowe was honored with the “Best Squad Leader” Award for leadership and professionalism.

The training academy provides comprehensive instruction in law enforcement fundamentals, the sheriff’s office said, including criminal law, patrol procedures, firearms proficiency, defensive tactics and leadership development to prepare deputies for duties in their communities.

Sheriff Eddie Hawkins and members of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office congratulated Deputies Rowe and Stoll and commended them for their work and commitment to public service, the office said. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
