Tupelo police seek suspect in West Main Street larceny

Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking the public for help locating the person or persons responsible for a larceny reported March 24, 2026, on West Main Street in Tupelo.

Police said a victim reported that a white and orange leaf blower was taken from a vehicle and that the suspect left the scene in what was believed to be a white GMC SUV displaying a handicap sticker.

Surveillance footage from a nearby business shows a possible suspect described as a white male wearing a blue T-shirt and a white hat, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of NE Mississippi at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or to submit a tip through the P3 Tip App.

Crime Stoppers of NE Mississippi said it will pay up to $2,000 in cash for a tip that leads to an arrest and emphasized, “We do not want your name, just your information.” Crime Stoppers programs typically offer rewards and work with law enforcement to resolve cases. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
