Tupelo police seek help identifying person in investigation
Tupelo police are asking the public to help identify a person shown in a photo released by investigators, the department said. Police did not provide additional details about the investigation.
Investigators asked anyone who recognizes the individual to come forward, saying public tips can be important in moving investigations forward. The department did not say when the photo was taken or what role the person may play in the probe.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Tupelo Police Department at 662-841-6491 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at 1-800-773-8477, officials said.
The Tupelo Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for Tupelo, Mississippi, and routinely asks for public assistance when photographic or video evidence might help identify persons of interest. Crime Stoppers programs generally allow members of the public to provide information anonymously to assist law enforcement.
Identifying people in images can help investigators confirm identities and determine next steps in an inquiry. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
