Starkville police charge two in assault, robbery at Sprint Mart
Starkville police said Monday that officers responded at 9:55 a.m. to Sprint Mart at 12258 Highway 182 East after a report of an assault and robbery. Officers made contact with involved parties and the victim reported being physically assaulted and was evaluated at the scene.
Following an investigation, Terrell Prater, 25, of Starkville, was charged with robbery. Diona McNeal, 41, of Houston, was charged with robbery as an accessory, the Starkville Police Department said in a news release posted on its Facebook page.
No weapons were involved, and both Prater and McNeal were transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail, the release said. The incident remains under investigation.
