St. Patrick’s Day parade sets schedule, bans grills and glass
Organizers said in a Facebook reel that the St. Patrick’s Day parade is almost here and posted rules and a schedule for downtown festivities. The post urged attendees to plan ahead and follow safety guidelines.
The social media notice lists several prohibited items: grills, glass and speakers are not allowed, and tents and weapons are also banned, organizers said. The schedule in the post lists the Kids Festival at 9, the Pet Parade at 10, the Kids Parade at 11 and the main parade at 12.
St. Patrick’s Day parades are common community events that often include family-friendly activities, marching bands and local organizations. Event organizers typically announce safety rules in advance to reduce hazards, manage crowds and ensure a welcoming environment for children and pets.
Attendees should review posted guidelines and arrive early to find viewing space downtown. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
