Squeeze the Day returns to support Mustard Seed
BRANDON — The Mustard Seed launched its annual “Squeeze the Day” fundraiser on April 4, encouraging supporters to host lemonade stands through May 30 and donate proceeds to help adults with developmental disabilities and their families, the organization said in promotional materials.
Organizers said the campaign is one of several ways the community can support the nonprofit’s work. Proceeds help The Mustard Seed continue its mission of serving more than 40 adults with developmental disabilities and their families, the materials said. The people served by the organization are known as “Seedsters.”
Participants are encouraged to register lemonade stands through The Mustard Seed and to donate proceeds at its location, 1085 Luckney Road in Brandon. The campaign is supported by community partners including Watkins Construction & Roofing, Guaranty Bank and On Target, the organization said.
The fundraiser aims to raise both financial support and public awareness of services for adults with developmental disabilities. The Mustard Seed did not provide additional details in its promotional materials. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
