Sheriff’s office welcomes deputy to Youth Services

The sheriff’s office announced on its Facebook page that Deputy Jeremy Bell has joined the department. The post said Bell brings 12 years of law enforcement experience and will serve in the agency’s Youth Services Division.

Youth Services divisions typically handle juvenile investigations, prevention programs and partnerships with schools and community organizations. Agencies use these units to focus on early intervention and to coordinate services for at-risk youth.

The department said it is excited about Bell’s arrival and expects his experience to contribute to positive outcomes in the community. Law enforcement officials often cite seasoned officers’ familiarity with community resources and juvenile protocols as valuable when working with young people and families.

Bell’s assignment underscores the department’s emphasis on youth-focused policing and community outreach. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
