Sgt. Justin Mitchell completes FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Program
Sgt. Justin Mitchell of the Oxford Police Department has completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Program, the department said in a Facebook post. The department called the accomplishment a significant professional milestone and praised Mitchell for his dedication to leadership and continued growth.
The department said the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Program is one of the most respected leadership development series in law enforcement. It said the program focuses on building strong, ethical and effective leaders by strengthening skills in communication, decision-making, accountability and servant leadership.
Oxford police said the leadership tools obtained through the program directly affect the quality of service officers provide to the community each day. The department also thanked the City of Oxford for its continued investment in the police department and its personnel.
Training programs such as the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy are commonly used by law enforcement agencies to improve leadership at all levels and to enhance public trust. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
