Precinct 2 launches Tuesday Talks for teens

Precinct 2 announced Tuesday Talks, a youth development program designed to support and empower teens ages 13–18, the office said in a Facebook post.

The initiative will focus on promoting mental, emotional, social and future awareness, equipping young people with knowledge, skills and resources to make positive decisions and become confident, responsible leaders, the post said. The program plans to collaborate with local organizations, community partners and resource providers to offer guidance, mentorship and educational opportunities.

Precinct offices often coordinate community services and outreach, and youth development programs are commonly used to create safe spaces for adolescents to discuss challenges, build resilience and plan for postsecondary education or careers. Organizers say the goal is to foster a supportive environment where teens can openly discuss issues affecting their well-being and future prospects.

Details about schedules, locations and participating partners were not included in the post. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
