Police hold found card for Theodore Holman Jr.

A Facebook post said a card belonging to Theodore Holman Jr. has been found and is being held at a police department front desk. The post asked people to tag Holman so he can be notified and said he must bring identification to claim the card.

The post did not identify which police department took custody of the card or provide additional contact information. Many police agencies accept found property at their front counters and generally require proof of identity before releasing items to ensure they return to the rightful owner.

Using social media to reunite people with lost property is common, allowing community members to quickly spread word of found items and help locate owners. Returning cards and other personal items promptly can reduce the risk of identity theft and minimize administrative work for local agencies.

People who know Holman were urged to tag him in the post so he can retrieve the card. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
