Pike County sheriff’s office supports Southern Mississippi Titans parade
Chief Deputy Damian Gatlin and members of the leadership team for the Pike County Sheriff’s Office in southern Mississippi supported the Southern Mississippi Titans Celebration Parade, the department said.
Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones said the agency remains committed to uplifting and encouraging the youth of Pike County. “It warms my heart to see this type of celebration for our youth. I truly appreciate the coaches for always including our team,” he said.
The post was provided by the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Department and included the department motto, #ServiceBeforeSelf. Local law enforcement agencies often participate in community events to build relationships with residents and support youth programs without compromising their public safety responsibilities.
Officials said the appearance underscores the sheriff’s office emphasis on community engagement and support for young people involved in extracurricular activities. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
