Pass Christian police seek identity of suspect in malicious mischief
Pass Christian Police Department said it is seeking the identity of an individual shown in a social media post who is suspected of involvement in a malicious mischief incident that caused thousands of dollars in damage to a homeowner’s property.
The department posted the image on Facebook and asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers by downloading the P3 Tips app or by calling TIPS. Police said that to qualify for any reward, information must be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
Malicious mischief generally refers to deliberate damage to another person’s property and can prompt criminal charges. Incidents that cause significant financial loss to homeowners can have lasting effects on victims and local neighborhoods, law enforcement officials say.
Pass Christian Police Department is the municipal law enforcement agency for Pass Christian, a city on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Crime Stoppers programs, which operate in many communities, allow residents to submit anonymous tips and sometimes offer rewards for information leading to arrests.
