Oxford police sit for Law&Crime documentary
Oxford Police Department said last week it met with a documentary team from the Law&Crime Network on A&E to discuss the department’s involvement in a case that drew national attention.
The department said the crew captured interviews and additional footage to help tell the story behind the investigation and the work that went into it. The account published several behind-the-scenes photos from the day of filming on the department’s Facebook page.
Law&Crime Network produces legal news and true-crime programming for national audiences, and such documentaries often explore investigative processes, courtroom proceedings and the perspectives of law enforcement and other participants.
Oxford Police Department, which provides public safety services in Oxford, Mississippi, said the interviews gave officers an opportunity to share their perspective and highlight the professionalism and dedication that goes into complex cases. Details about the specific case and the documentary’s release were limited. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
