Ocean Springs honors Capt. Brian Kestner as First Responder of Year
Capt. Brian Kestner of the Ocean Springs Police Department received the department’s First Responder of the Year Award at the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce–Main Street Tourism Bureau annual banquet last night, the City of Ocean Springs said in a Facebook post.
City officials including the mayor, the Board of Aldermen and members of city staff joined community leaders at the event to celebrate what the city described as a year of partnership, progress and achievement.
The city said Kestner’s leadership, dedication and commitment to serving residents exemplify the values of the police department and the community. The post thanked him for his continued service and invited residents to join in congratulating him on the honor.
The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce–Main Street Tourism Bureau is a local business and tourism organization that hosts community events, including an annual banquet that brings together municipal officials, business leaders and residents.
