Mobile license unit visits Pascagoula to offer ID renewals
PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV) — The Mobile Mississippi Driver’s License Unit stopped in Pascagoula this week, offering residents a convenient way to update state identification and driver credentials without traveling to a central office.
A Facebook post by WXXV described the unit as “like a pop-up shop for your drivers license,” calling the service “amazing.” The post said the mobile unit set up at the Win Job Center to provide quick, local access to licensing services.
The unit is part of efforts to expand access to driver services across the state. The Mississippi Department of Public Safety operates mobile licensing events to help residents who live far from Department of Public Safety offices or who need a faster option to renew or update IDs.
