Mississippi Egg Marketing Board hosts Easter at Ag Museum

JACKSON — The Mississippi Egg Marketing Board will host its annual Easter at the Ag Museum event on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum, organizers said.

“We27re proud to continue this annual Easter tradition at the Ag Museum and welcome visitors from all across the state,” Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson said. “The Mississippi Egg Marketing Board does a wonderful job hosting this event each year and with the 27Bunny Trail27 and hands-on activities to rides and family-friendly entertainment, there27s something for everyone to enjoy. It27s a great opportunity to spend time together and celebrate the season, and I encourage families to come out and be part of the festivities.”

Children can follow the museum27s “Bunny Trail” to collect candy- and toy-filled eggs. Families will be able to dye and paint eggs, take wagon, train or carousel rides, get faces painted and enjoy other activities. Mississippi27s Miss Hospitality Taylor Garretson and Miss Mississippi Anna Leah Jolly will attend for a meet and greet. The Mississippi Beef Council will serve complimentary hotdogs while supplies last. Additional sponsors include Cal-Maine Foods and Polk27s Meat Products.

Admission is $10 per person for ages 2 and up and includes carousel, train and wagon rides; concessions will be available for purchase.
