Jackson police seek runaway 17-year-old with medical condition
The Jackson Police Department is attempting to locate 17-year-old James Travis McGraw, who has a medical condition that may impair his judgment, the department said in a Facebook post.
Authorities provided two contact numbers for anyone with information: 769-209-7439 or 601-960-1234. The post did not include additional details about McGraw’s last known location or when he was reported missing.
Police and child welfare advocates say runaways who have medical or mental health conditions can be at heightened risk and often require prompt attention to ensure their safety. Law enforcement agencies typically ask the public to report sightings quickly so officers can verify information and provide any needed care.
