Jackson Police Chief Brackney leads executive staff meeting via Zoom
Chief of Police RaShall M. Brackney led this morning’s weekly executive command staff meeting via Zoom, the Jackson Police Department said in a Facebook post.
The department said Brackney has remained engaged since her confirmation in the role as she prepares for her arrival and transition into leadership of the Jackson Police Department. The post did not provide additional details about timing or specific agenda items.
The Jackson Police Department is the municipal law enforcement agency responsible for public safety and community policing in the city of Jackson. Executive command staff meetings typically bring senior leaders together to coordinate operations, review policy and discuss strategic priorities, and sustained involvement from a chief can shape department direction and morale.
Brackney’s early engagement as she transitions into the role follows a common pattern in law enforcement leadership changes, when continuity and clear communication are important for both officers and the communities they serve. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
