Jackson police arrest three on suspicion of armed robberies
Jackson police said three people were arrested Saturday after Capitol Police stopped a vehicle that matched a department alert about suspects in a series of armed robberies, aggravated assaults and home invasions.
In a Facebook post, the Jackson Police Department said Capitol Police stopped a black Honda Accord near State Street and Beasley Road on March 21, 2026, after locating a vehicle and occupants who fit the descriptions in a BOLO. The occupants were taken into JPD custody and interviewed by detectives.
Daja Logan, 24, was charged with two counts of armed robbery of an individual, two counts of conspiracy, two counts of home invasion, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts each of accessory before the fact and accessory after the fact. Curtavious Simpson, 33, was charged with four counts of armed robbery of an individual, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of home invasion. Graig Bradley, 27, was charged with four counts of armed robbery of an individual, two counts of home invasion and three counts of aggravated assault. Each was held on $6 million bond.
JPD said the suspects are alleged to be responsible for two separate robberies of four Hispanic male victims and one robbery of two Indian victims in the Precinct 1 and Precinct 2 areas, and are believed to be involved in additional robberies under investigation.
