Hinds County honors deputies at 100 Club banquet

Hinds County honored two of its deputies during the 100 Club of Jackson annual banquet, the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

The department identified the honorees as “Deputy of the Year Vincent Kendricks” and “Sheriff Malcolm McMillin Deputy of the Year Kedric Denson,” saying both were recognized during the banquet for their service. The post said the event brought together first responders from across the metro area to recognize courage, professionalism and commitment to public safety.

The sheriff’s office said Kendricks and Denson continue to exemplify the highest standards of the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office and expressed gratitude for their service. The post also extended appreciation to 100 Club President Doug Boone and the 100 Club of Jackson for their support of HCSO and other first responders in the metro area.

The 100 Club of Jackson is known for supporting first responders and their families in times of need. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
