FORREST COUNTY, Miss. — The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault on a deputy that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 29, the sheriff’s office said. Multiple individuals have been identified as being involved and are wanted for questioning as the probe continues.
Authorities are asking the public for help identifying and locating those involved. Anyone with information about the identities or whereabouts of the individuals is asked to contact the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office at 601-544-7800, the sheriff’s office said.
