Deputy Kyle Magee graduates from North Mississippi law enforcement training

Sheriff Jim H. Johnson posted on Facebook that Deputy Kyle Magee graduated from the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center as a member of Class B-81.

Deputy Magee was one of 29 graduates, Sheriff Johnson said, who will return to serve their respective agencies and communities. The post congratulated Magee and his classmates on their accomplishment.

The North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center provides basic training and certification for new law enforcement officers from across the region, covering topics such as legal instruction, procedure and community policing. Graduations mark the completion of recruit training that prepares deputies to begin field duties under their agencies’ supervision.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is the primary law enforcement agency for Lee County, Mississippi, responsible for patrol, investigations and detention operations. The office often sends recruits to regional training centers to meet state certification requirements.

We will provide more information as it becomes available.
