Dairy Queen offers free cones to benefit Children’s of Mississippi
JACKSON — Residents can get a free ice cream cone Thursday, March 19, at participating Dairy Queen locations to support Children’s of Mississippi, hospital officials said.
Children’s of Mississippi said participating Dairy Queen restaurants will hand out free cones on March 19. Customers who choose to have their cone dipped can make a $1 donation to benefit their local children’s hospital, the statement said.
Participating locations include Ridgeland, Pearl, Flowood, Brandon, Jackson, Richland, Meridian, Natchez, Brookhaven and Hattiesburg, Children’s of Mississippi said.
Hospital officials said donations help provide care and services for children in need. Children’s of Mississippi provides pediatric medical services across the state, including specialty care and support programs for families.
Dairy Queen is known for promotional events that offer free cones and often partners with community organizations to raise funds. Community fundraising days like this provide a low-cost way for residents to support local health services while enjoying a treat. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
