Crime Stoppers, Tupelo police seek suspects in Jan. 22 felony shoplifting
Crime Stoppers of North East Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking the public for help locating two men sought in a felony shoplifting reported Jan. 22, 2026, at a business in Tupelo, police said.
Tupelo police said business employees reported that several items were stolen after two suspects broke locks off display cases and placed merchandise in their pants. Surveillance footage provided to authorities shows two Black males; one wore camouflage pants, a black coat and a toboggan, and the other wore a black and gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, white sandals and a blue hat, the department said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of NE MS at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or to download the P3 Tip App to leave a tip. Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $2,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest and that the program does not seek callers’ names, only information.
Crime Stoppers is a community program that allows people to provide anonymous tips and offers rewards for information that leads to arrests. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
