Crime Stoppers, Tupelo police seek men in Walmart jewelry theft

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking the public for help locating two men suspected in a jewelry theft at a Tupelo Walmart on Feb. 11, 2026.

Crime Stoppers said in a Facebook post that at approximately 1:25 p.m. two unknown male individuals entered the Walmart at 2270 West Main Street, went to the jewelry section, concealed multiple items and left without paying. The total value of the stolen merchandise exceeds $5,000, the post said.

The incident is being investigated as a false pretense case by the Tupelo Police Department, Crime Stoppers said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of NE MS at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or to download the P3 Tip App and leave an anonymous tip. Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $2,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest and that it does not want callers’ names, only information.
