Crime Stoppers, sheriff seek arrest of Ricky Ray Williams Jr.

Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department are asking the public for help apprehending Ricky Ray Williams Jr., the agencies said in a Facebook post.

Williams is described as a white male, about 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and black-and-gray hair and tattoos on his body and face, the post said. He is wanted on one count of sale of methamphetamine and one count of sale of methamphetamine enhanced with a church, the agencies said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or to leave an anonymous tip through the P3 Tip App. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 in cash for a tip that leads to an arrest, the post said, and noted that the organization seeks information, not names.

Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit program that encourages anonymous public tips to assist law enforcement. The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department investigates drug offenses and related arrests in the county. This is a developing story and will be updated as more details emerge.
