Corinth police chief speaks to officer candidates at Shiloh
Corinth Police Chief Tucker spoke to a group of military officer candidates at Shiloh, the Corinth Police Department said in a Facebook post. The department said Tucker, a graduate of the Officer Candidate School, addressed the students yesterday.
The post said it was an honor for Tucker to speak to the men and women in the Officer Candidate School and that he shared his experience and offered encouragement to the upcoming leaders.
Officer Candidate School is a training program designed to prepare enlisted personnel and civilians for leadership roles and commissioning as officers in the U.S. armed forces. Appearances by local officials at military training events highlight ties between municipal authorities and the armed services and underscore community support for leadership development.
The department did not provide additional details about the speech or the size of the class. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
