Community raises funds for injured Starkville Corporal
Organizers announced on Facebook that a fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 21, to support the family of Corporal Colby Huffman, a Starkville police officer who was seriously injured in a crash one month ago.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Village Cycle Center. The Facebook post lists Brian Michael’s Catering Co. and Blue Plate Mafia among participating vendors and thanked the community for coming together to support one of their own.
Corporal Colby Huffman is a member of the Starkville Police Department, which serves the city of Starkville, Mississippi.
