By Faith Baptist Church delivers care bags to school resource officers
Members of By Faith Baptist Church, led by Bro. Steve Paul, recently delivered bags of “prayers/goodies” to School Resource Officers, a Facebook post said. The post expressed gratitude for the church’s kindness and generosity toward officers assigned to local schools.
School Resource Officers are sworn law enforcement officers who work in schools to provide security, build relationships with students and staff, and respond to incidents. Community gestures of support, such as care packages or words of appreciation, are often intended to bolster morale among officers who work closely with children and educators.
Faith-based organizations frequently engage in community outreach through volunteer service, donations and events aimed at supporting public employees and vulnerable populations. By Faith Baptist Church’s delivery follows a broader pattern of local congregations partnering with schools and law enforcement to foster community ties.
