Alcorn County deputies locate 38-year-old woman reported missing
Alcorn County deputies located and spoke with Ashley Johnson, 38, on Thursday after her family reported they had not heard from her since Sunday, authorities said.
The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that family members filed a report on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, saying they had not been able to reach Johnson since March 15. Investigators with the sheriff’s office immediately began an inquiry into her whereabouts.
Law enforcement officers located Johnson on Thursday, March 19, 2026, and determined she was safe, the sheriff’s office said. The office did not provide additional information about where she was found or the circumstances surrounding her absence.
